closely with contractors and developers, to accommodate the
homeowner with products that not only provide safety and peace
of mind, but that are easy to use and good to look at.
The New Consumer Unit range from Hager has been designed
to fit into today's home environment. Whether the Consumer
Unit houses electrical distribution or smart control devices,
the units colour and form have been deigned to complement
and integrate into the home. With familiar yet stylish lines
the unit provides ease of access for all.
For further protection the range now includes as standard
the Dual RCCB protected units, ensuring protection on all
circuits. To aide usability for all, Hager took advice from
the RNIB and the on - off symbols are now embossed into the
unit.
When fitting the Consumer Unit, ease of installation
is paramount. Breakouts are easy to remove with a pair of
pliers and the island style cutouts provide optimum space
when bringing cables in from the rear.
Through
in-depth research with contractors, we have incorporated a
number of innovative features that enable time saving and
easy installation. Multiple fixing points, no restrictions
under the din rail and cable entries positioned for easy access
to devices, all add up to a spacious Consumer Unit that is
quick and easy to install.

The
design of the New Hager Consumer Unit allows it to be installed
quickly and is designed to BS EN 60439-3 Annex ZA. The unit
can be installed with only 3 hand tools and benefits from
more internal cabling space, cable dressing has never been
so simple!
Hager

Unit has been designed with the same attention to detail.
With preconfiguarable and configurable variants, choice comes
as standard.
With
the full metal din rail, devices are fixed securely. On configurable
variants, the snapable busbar allows the contractor the choice
of configuration. The MCB's feature a new din rail clip allowing
to remove and replace a device without removing the busbar
from other devices.
