Charge your world with Sollysta USB

We have extended our range of Sollysta wiring accessories with the arrival of the Twin USB socket.
We are delighted to announce the arrival of the latest addition to our Sollysta White Moulded range of wiring accessories, the Sollysta USB Twin Socket with twin USB ports to charge the many devices which now fill our world.
Fully charged

Suitable for charging most portable electronic devices connected via a USB 2.0 and 3.0 type A plug, our Sollysta USB Twin Socket delivers a maximum charging current of 2.4A. This can be delivered to either port, or divided between the two ports as required.

A key benefit of our Sollysta USB Twin Socket is its built-in intelligent connection. Where some USB sockets don’t interact with the charging device and therefore provide a slower trickle charge, our Sollysta USB Twin Socket will talk back to the connected device and identify itself as its primary charger, allowing for maximum charging capacity and improved charging speed.
For installation, you can benefit from the ability to install the Sollysta USB Twin Socket into a 35mm back box. For installations into a 25mm back box, a 10mm spacer is also available as part of a combined offer with the socket or it can be purchased separately as an accessory.

Still with the features you love...

You will still benefit from the Sollysta features you loved before such as a patented three pin shutter mechanism for additional safety, moulded cable lead in’s, captive and backed off terminal screws, positive wire end stop and inline terminals.

As with the rest of our Sollysta range of wiring accessories, our Sollysta USB Twin Socket has been designed with the installer in mind, helping to save valuable time on site.
Safety at heart

Safety is of paramount importance to us and our Sollysta USB Twin Sockets are no different. The USB sockets are protected against over-current and short circuit conditions on the output by a non-replaceable fuse.

They comply to the latest standards (BS1363-2:2016) and just like the rest of the Sollysta wiring accessories range, they are also certified by global test and certification body Nemko London.
