The hard-wearing range of Metalclad accessories are designed to withstand the toughest conditions and heaviest knocks, particulary in industrial installations.

MetalClad Features

The front plate is coated with a two layer tough paint finish and will maintain its good looks through years of hard labour. The backs of the switched power sockets and fused connection units are manufactured in a new unique, specially developed tough blue PBT plastic for added strength necessary during installation.

MetalClad Benefits

We have extended the switching capacity of the metalclad range to include a 45A double pole switch. Typical applications might include switching larger capacity lighting schemes, for example supermarket car park lighting.

MetalClad Grid Features

The frame is a hybrid structure made from a high grade steel and high performance polymer. It gives extra strength and great flexibilty in accommadating one, two, three or four gang modules. The large cage terminals with back-out combi head screws allow fast and secure installation of up to 2x4mm2 conductors.

MetalClad Grid Benefits

The rugged clip in system between modules and frames ensure secure location of modules with no risk of pushing through the back. The modules clip straight into the frame from the front, allowing wire up prior to installation, and can be easily removed from the front for rewiring without the need to remove the frame.
