Standards and Maintenance
The products are rated to IP56 in accordance with BS EN 60529 and will withstand dust and water jet ingress. Their housings are made from UV stabilised chemically resistant polycarbonate to ensure high impact resistance and a long maintenance free life.

Installation
All IP56 switches and sockets are supplied in a surface mounting back box which incorporates earth and loop terminals. The box enables top, bottom and side entry for cables or conduit.
Features
The switches incorporate large rockers and pushes to ensure ease of operation - even when wearing heavy gloves. Switches are fitted with a neon indicator which can be wired as an aid to location in dark or dusty environments.
